1. About these terms

By using this website you agree to these terms and our Privacy policy and Cookie notice. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. What the site is for

The site gives information about buying used and scrap vehicles and about used auto parts, and lets you ask for a quote or a part. Information is general and may change. We try to keep it accurate but do not promise it is complete or current.

3. Quote requests

Sending a request does not create a contract, and we are not required to make an offer.
A price becomes an offer only when we confirm it in writing by text or WhatsApp. We honour a confirmed price unless the vehicle has missing parts or differs from its description
You must be the owner, or have the owner's written permission, to sell a vehicle. We ask for the vehicle registration and photo ID to confirm ownership before a purchase, and we give you a bill of sale.
Information and photos you send must be true and yours to share.

4. Parts

Parts shown or discussed are subject to availability. We pull parts for customers at no charge. We do not promise that a part fits unless we confirm it for your vehicle.

5. Collection and payment

Collection is free of charge, and same-day pickup is often available depending on location and time of request. Payment is usually by e-transfer from AKJ's company account.

6. Using the site

Do not misuse the site: no unlawful use, no attempts to disrupt or gain unauthorised access, no spam through the forms, no automated scraping, no false or other people's personal details in forms.

7. Content and ownership

Site text, images, the AKJ logo and design belong to AKJ or its licensors. You may view and print pages for personal use. Do not copy or reuse them commercially without written permission. Reviews shown are from customers and reflect their own views.

8. Links

We may link to other sites (for example ICBC or government pages). We do not control them and are not responsible for their content.

9. Disclaimers and limits

The site is provided "as is". Nothing here is legal, tax or insurance advice. For ICBC steps such as plates and insurance, check with an Autoplan broker.

10. Privacy

We handle personal information as described in our Privacy policy.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site means you accept the update.
